Every UFC 5 guide on one page
Every page on this site exists to answer one question, and this page is the map. Three routes at the bottom are for people who would rather be told where to start than browse a table.

Route 1: the first hour
For someone who has never played a UFC game and does not want to lose a week to guessing.
- Beginner guide — the Learn tab, the fighter types, and the six drills worth doing first.
- PS5 controls or Xbox controls — the full input map for your console, in four phases.
- Striking offense — the four punch families and the six kick types, with inputs.
- Striking defense — because the first thing an online opponent does is punish a held block.
This route is about inputs. Do not read the ground pages until you can throw a jab, block a hook and check a leg kick without thinking about the buttons.
Route 2: the grappling route
For someone who is losing on the ground and cannot work out why.
- Ground defense — denial timing, direction matching, and the pre-emptive input that fixes most of it.
- Submissions guide — the resilience meter, chains and the denial window.
- Ground offense — grapple advantage, transitions, and how ground and pound pays for a submission.
- Stamina and health — because most submission losses start with a stamina deficit two exchanges earlier.
The order matters. Defence first, because the ground game is a denial game; offence second, because the submissions only work once you understand what the defender is trying to do.
Route 3: the trophy route
For someone who wants the platinum in a weekend and does not care about online ranking.
- Trophy guide — all 32, the one missable, the three calendar-gated ones.
- Career mode — the fastest path through the single-player set, including the G.O.A.T. checklist.
- Fight week — the three semi-missable trophies, and how the window works.
- Online career and Blitz mode — the three online trophies, including the title defence.
The trophy route is the only one with a time constraint: three trophies require a live Fight Week, which only exists during a real UFC pay-per-view week. Everything else can be done at your own pace.
What this site is not
It is not a news site. UFC 5's content run ended at Patch 1.31 in January 2026, so there is no news to report — only a fixed set of systems, a fixed roster and a Fight Week rotation that follows the real sport.
It is not a tier list. The official roster hub does not publish attribute values, which means any ranking with numbers behind it is either from the in-game fighter select screen or invented.
It is not a UFC 6 guide. There is one page about UFC 6, and it exists to answer the purchase question, not to teach the game.
How the pages are built
Every page carries a checked date. The mechanical pages are built from EA's official tips library — more than ninety technique pages, each with an input and a one-paragraph explanation — reorganised into tables that read across consoles. The data pages are counted from the official roster hub, the official Alter Egos hub and the official news archive, and they state the count and the date rather than asserting a total.
Where a number comes from a trophy guide rather than from EA, the page says so. Where EA has published nothing — player counts, frame rates, attribute values — the page says that instead of filling the gap.
